Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

General

What is this platform?

This platform is a digital verification and documentation system designed for manufacturers, notified bodies, and stakeholders operating under EU product regulations such as CPR, CE marking, and Digital Product Passport (DPP).

Is the system free to use?

Yes. The platform is currently completely free to use. There are no subscription fees or hidden costs at this stage.

Notified Bodies (NoBo)

What can notified bodies do on this platform?

Notified Bodies can publish, manage, and update certificates they have issued. Any update or withdrawal of a certificate is instantly reflected in the system.

How does certificate verification work?

Each certificate can be assigned a unique QR code. This QR code can be added directly to the certificate document. When scanned, it leads to a public verification page showing the current validity and status of the certificate.

Manufacturers

What can manufacturers do on this platform?

Manufacturers can register their products, create Declarations of Performance (DoP), prepare CE marking information, and generate Digital Product Passports (DPP).

Can manufacturers generate QR codes?

Yes. QR codes can be generated for Declarations of Performance, CE labels, and Digital Product Passports. These QR codes can be printed on documents, labels, or products to enable instant verification.

What is a Digital Product Passport (DPP)?

A Digital Product Passport (DPP) is a structured digital record containing product information such as technical data, environmental indicators, material composition, lifecycle data, and user instructions.

Can DPPs be publicly verified?

Yes. If enabled by the manufacturer, a DPP can be accessed through a public verification page using a QR code or direct link.

Verification & Transparency

Who can verify documents?

Anyone can verify public documents by scanning the QR code or visiting the public verification link. No login is required for verification.

What happens if a document is updated or withdrawn?

Verification pages always show the current status of the document. If a certificate or declaration is updated or withdrawn, the public verification page reflects this immediately.

Data & Security

Is my data secure?

Yes. Access to private data is restricted to authorized users. Public access is limited only to explicitly published verification pages.

Can data be changed retroactively?

All changes are controlled by authorized users. Public verification pages always reflect the latest approved state of the document.

Future Development

Will new features be added?

Yes. The platform is actively developed. Future features may include advanced analytics, integrations with EU databases, and extended Digital Product Passport capabilities.
